What is I-TRIZ?
The Ideation/TRIZ-methodology (I-TRIZ) is based on:
- TRIZ in its classical form (TRIZ is the Russian acronym for " Theory of the inventive Problemsolving"). Classical TRIZ methodology was developed in the former Soviet union from 1946 into the middle of the 1980's.
- Improvements of TRIZ methodology based on the experience of TRIZ users over the last twenty years and more than 7.000.000US$ on investments in resuming research and adjustment of methodology by Ideation TRIZ scientist.
I-TRIZ began itself to develop in the middle of the 80's of the last century, when TRIZ in its classical form lacked advancements. The research and development of I-TRIZ were continued incessant since this beginning. As a result I-TRIZ contains not only improved versions of the classical TRIZ tools, but also an extended knowledge base, new tools in order to use this knowledge and analyze problems more efficiently, and the following extended applications:
- Inventive Problem Solving (IPS): A method, in order to eliminate blockades related to the development and the application of products as well as with processes. IPS can be used, in order to solve problems with Design, research and development, production, security, reliability and quality assurance.
- Anticipatory Failure Determination (AFD): A method of the analysis, forecast and removal of errors/losses during systems, products and processes.
- Directed Evolution (DE): A method of the development of a comprehensive set of scenarios, which describe future generations of systems. DE is based on development samples, which are the basis for the trends of technical systems.
